Everyone talked about the symptoms. Not about you.

A 6-module written course for women in perimenopause and menopause. Not about the symptoms — about the self. The identity, the mood, the relationships, and who you are becoming.

The symptoms are real. They are also beside the point. This course addresses what nobody else does: the identity, psychology, and self of the woman in perimenopause and menopause.

The Premise

The work beneath
Everyone talked about the symptoms. Not about you.

This course is designed to help you slow the pattern down, understand what is happening underneath it, and begin practising a steadier, kinder way forward. It does not ask you to become someone else. It helps you return to yourself with more clarity, language, and choice.

The symptoms are real. They are also beside the point. This course addresses what nobody else does: the identity, psychology, and self of the woman in perimenopause and menopause.
The Course

6 Modules. 18 Lessons

Each module is a place to understand one layer more clearly. Move slowly. Let the language meet the part of your life that has needed more care, more honesty, and a more hopeful way forward.

01
Module 1
The Change

Menopause is not only a hormonal event. It is an identity crossing. This module maps the psychological structure of the transition: what is ending, what is beginning, and why the disorientation is not a malfunction.

02
Module 2
The Mood You Don’t Recognise

The biology of perimenopause is real and affects the nervous system, mood, cognition, and energy. This module provides accurate psychological understanding of what is happening neurologically — and why it changes how you feel about yourself.

03
Module 3
The Body You Don’t Recognise

The change surfaces old material. Patterns that were managed, feelings that were contained, identities that no longer fit: the transition tends to bring them forward. This module works with what is emerging.

04
Module 4
The Relationships That Are Shifting

Who are you on the other side of this crossing? This module addresses the identity question at the centre of the change: not the loss of the former self, but the emergence of the one that has been forming.

05
Module 5
The Grief and the Gift

The second half of life that opens after the change has different requirements and different possibilities. This module is about claiming that, consciously, with full knowledge of what has been asked and what has been given.

06
Module 6
Who You Are Becoming

The change asks for a different relationship to the body, to time, and to other people. This final module consolidates what has shifted and names what the crossing has made permanently possible.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

What is perimenopause? +

Perimenopause is the transition period before menopause during which oestrogen levels fluctuate and gradually decline. It typically begins in the mid-to-late forties but can start earlier, and can last between two and ten years. Because oestrogen directly affects the brain’s mood-regulation system, these hormonal fluctuations produce significant psychological effects alongside the physical ones, which this course addresses directly.

Is this course about managing symptoms? +

No. Your doctor is the right resource for symptom management. This course addresses the psychological and identity dimension of the transition: what is happening to your sense of self, your mood, your relationships, and who you are becoming. It works alongside medical support.

Do I need to be in menopause to take this course? +

No. The course is written for the entire perimenopausal and menopausal transition. Women in early perimenopause who are beginning to notice changes will find it as relevant as women who are post-menopausal.

Why is the psychological dimension so rarely addressed? +

Because the medical system is organised around symptom management, and the wellness industry around minimising visible evidence of ageing. Neither has much space for the question this course addresses: what is happening to the person inside the transition.

Is this a replacement for therapy? +

No. If you are experiencing clinical depression or significant mental health challenges, please seek professional support. This course works alongside that support, not instead of it.
